COLOUR BURST – IFEANYI OKAFOR JR x ORANGE CULTURE x DENNIS OSADEBE

Hey Guys!

First of all, I have to apologize for not being as consistent for the last few months. Med School hasn’t exactly been the kindest to me -zaps all my time. I am happy to be back at updating regularly as time permits.

I am really excited for this collaboration because not everyone is lucky and privileged to work with 2 of their favorite brands at the same time.

ORANGE CULTURE is a brand I have followed from its inception in 2011 and I have watched it grow to what it’s now. I’m privileged to know the creative director, Adebayo Oke-Lawal. I have followed how the brand has evolved in creativity and aesthetics. I love that the brand always steps away from the norm and gives an alternative or its version of what menswear should be. It deviates from boring everyday clothes to creating master pieces.

On the other hand, Dennis Osadebe, is an artist, whose work I stumbled on during one of my visits to Re.Le. ( Re.Le is an art gallery in Lagos, Nigeria.) What got my attention the most, about his work was his generous use of vibrant colours and how the colours go together so well forming a visually appealing image. I am in love with that skill, it’s almost envy. Something about his work makes it so soothing despite the generous use of vibrant colours.

They – Orange Culture And Dennis Osadebe – recently released a capsule collection and I was privilege to make a blogger’s edit of the collection. The collection includes T-shirts, Button-up shirts, shorts and pants. The fabric is light and very comfortable and the tailoring is great.
